On paper this CPU cooler looks great. And indeed it really works well. No quibble. Problem is whoever designed its mounting should be invited to find a job with some brand X. This cooler can only be successfully installed on a motherbd PRIOR to mounting in the case. Even if you have plenty of access to the rear.

It has to be installed with the motherbd horizontal, otherwise it simply falls off the CPU while you fuss with the mounting screws, in a foul mood. There are 3 mounting holes (775, 1155, 1366) on each foot -- innovative idea? Check your curse vocabulary because you will need it when the mounting screw slips from one hole to its neighbor. And on one foot then another. Then be careful not to overtighten the screws or your might short something. If you forgot to install the ram sticks, tough luck. Accessing the closest stick once the cooler is installed likely requires removing the cooler. And then when it is in the case. That may be the time to replace it... Read more
